The award of the “Training Quality Seal” by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) confirms the high standards and strong commitment to vocational training at HERING. At the same time, it motivates us to continuously develop the quality of our training programs and to set new impulses.
Apprenticeships at a glance:
Plant mechanic
As a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning systems, you make sure everything runs smoothly in our restroom facilities.
Drafter
The first point of contact when it comes to plans! Using specialized computer software, you create technical construction drawings.
Concrete worker
The experts when it comes to shaping concrete: you produce concrete components, for example for platforms, underpasses or bus stops.
Electronics technician
…for industrial engineering are experts in installing, programming, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Electronics technician
…for energy and building technology learn everything about electrical engineering in our restroom facilities – from planning to maintenance.
IT specialist
…for system integration learn everything about PCs and laptops, telephone systems, tablets and smartphones during their apprenticeship at HERING – inside out.
Warehouse logistics specialist
Warehouse clerks and warehouse logistics specialists organize and manage our inventory and always keep track of everything.
Track construction worker
They are responsible for building and maintaining tracks and switches. Here you work with heavy machinery – but still with millimetre precision.
Industrial clerk
During their apprenticeship they get to know all departments: from accounting and human resources to purchasing and sales.
Office management clerk
True organizational talents! You take care of all office routines – from scheduling appointments to processing travel expense reports.
Construction machinery mechatronics technician
As a real machine expert, you work in our workshop and take care of the construction equipment that returns from the construction site.
Technical system planner
In this field, you plan and design complex systems across various disciplines. At HERING, we offer apprenticeships in several specializations.
Process mechanic
Process mechanics for coating technology use various machines and systems to apply coatings to plastic films.
Carpenter
In our precast plant, carpenters are the experts when it comes to creating formwork for our concrete elements.

You can expect fair pay – currently between €1,080 in the first year and €1,650 in the third and fourth year of your apprenticeship – plus Christmas and vacation bonuses.

At HERING, further training and employee development are a top priority. After completing a part-time distance-learning program, I successfully graduated as a Certified Construction Specialist in just 1.5 years! Throughout the entire training, I could fully rely on HERING’s support. I’m excited to now contribute the knowledge I gained through this qualification to my work at HERING.

What I like most about my apprenticeship is the opportunity to go through all departments and get to know different processes within the company. A big plus for me is that our own opinions are valued and we can always get help when problems arise. At school, we are very well supported by internal training sessions where we can ask questions that couldn’t be clarified in class. I really enjoy my apprenticeship at HERING and I’m already looking forward to the tasks ahead.

Already during the job interview, I was made aware of the wide range of benefits and the flexible working hours. After the birth of my first daughter, I had the opportunity to take two months of parental leave and thus support my wife in completing her teacher training. Those two months with my daughter were a very special and intensive time that I would not want to miss.
