Your Apprenticeship
The time has come: school is coming to an end, and it’s time to set the course for your future. An apprenticeship is always a good. With your first self-earned money, you’ll gain independence. You’ll become more self-reliant and grow every day with each new experience. And if you’re eager for more: we’ll support your development with many opportunities – including at our very own HERING Academy.
Today. Tomorrow. And in the future.
After your apprenticeship, you’ll have great chances of being taken on in a future-proof industry – because construction never stops.
Exchange. Team spirit. Solidarity.
Annual trainee workshops are an essential part of HERING – they strengthen teamwork, foster collaboration and also help our apprentices grow personally.
Salary. Vacation. Benefits.
At HERING, you can expect fair pay – currently between €1,080 in the first year and €1,650 in the third or fourth year of training – plus Christmas and vacation bonuses.
Training. Future planning. Feedback.
Regular evaluation and feedback meetings are an important part of our company culture – for your development and for ours.
Adventure. Variety. Experience.
You have the chance to do a voluntary internship abroad – for example through the WINGS program of the IHK Siegen in Ireland or through the Erasmus program within the EU.
Exercise. Health. Activity.
Corporate health management is important to us – with plenty of sports events and financial support for fitness training, Urban Sports Club memberships and more to keep you healthy.
Benefits. Mobility. Nationwide.
HERING gets you moving: with the Deutschlandticket, you can use buses and trains all over Germany – and we’ll cover the cost for you.
Like-minded people. Friendship. Teamwork.
10% of our workforce are apprentices. You’ll have a strong team behind you – always there to support you!
Your questions, our answers.
Yes! Get your first impression and experience our training professions live during an internship. An internship usually lasts between one and three weeks. During this time, you can find out whether a profession is right for you.
You can apply paperless through this career portal. To make your application convincing, it should include the following:
Cover Letter
- Why are you interested in this apprenticeship?
- Why do you want to work at HERING?
- Why are you the right choice?
CV / Resume
- Personal details
- Educational background
- Relevant internships
- Voluntary work and hobbies
Certificates and References
- Your last two school reports
- Relevant certificates
Your application will be reviewed and forwarded to the responsible trainer. Afterwards, you’ll either be invited to an entrance test or an interview. For technical professions, there is also a one-day trial internship. If everything fits, we’ll invite you and your parents to sign the contract.
That depends entirely on your area of responsibility. Take a look at the possible apprenticeships and job descriptions to get a first impression.
