The focus is on commissioning and monitoring complex technical systems, using both modern control and automation technology as well as traditional electrical installations.

HERING offers excellent apprenticeship opportunities. During your training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, you will always be supported by experienced trainers and by a dedicated teacher in our in-house classes, who will prepare you specifically for your lessons and exams.

How long does the apprenticeship take?

Electronics technicians for industrial engineering usually start their apprenticeship on August 1.

Is an apprenticeship in construction worth it?

An apprenticeship in construction is definitely worthwhile. Here is the current apprenticeship pay, depending on the year of training:

€1,080 | €1,300 | €1,550 | €1,650

On top of that, you’ll receive additional holiday and Christmas bonuses – plus 30 days of vacation per year. Not bad, right?

How does the apprenticeship work?

In addition to your training time at the company, you will attend the Technical College in Siegen. You will also take part in inter-company training courses with a partner company and at the Electrical Training Center of the District Crafts Association.

This way, you’ll be perfectly prepared for your final exam.

What comes after the apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is the perfect career start or a springboard for further qualifications. These are some of your options:

  • Advanced training as a master electrician
  • Advanced training as a certified technician specializing in electrical engineering
  • Degree studies in electrical engineering, building services engineering or similar fields
