SchulePlus is a project of the Johann-Textor-Schule in cooperation with regional training companies. Alongside your regular school lessons, you can regularly get a taste of working life at HERING and explore a profession up close.
The GAP YEAR South Westphalia is a practical year that allows you to complete up to three internships in different companies and professions within just one year – including at HERING. The programme offers you a wide variety of insights in a very short time. It is organised by the Südwestfalen Agency – and requires only one application.
A classic student internship lasts between one and three weeks. Discover what HERING has to offer!
It’s not just men who can work on excavators! At HERING, we take part in Girls’Day every year – and we want to prove exactly that. Our goal is to train young women in professions that are often seen as “men’s jobs.” So take your chance, join us at HERING, and experience an action-packed day.

Dual studies / StudiumPlus at HERING
A dual study programme or StudiumPlus is the perfect combination of theory and practice. One of our partners is the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM). The knowledge you gain in lectures can be applied directly in the company – giving you a real edge over graduates who only study theory.
